Background
Circa 2005 to the present
I brought this group together after the Roadmasters dissolved (the
bassist was injured in a motorcycle accident). We've been going with this
group for about 3 yrs now....we're a cover band playing old and new country
as well as classic and southern rock.
Most of our gigs are local to the central Kentucky area....
we play small clubs, dance halls and private parties.
We pride ourselves on good clean sound with the acoustic guitar and
bass running direct our stage volume in well controlled and we have a pro
sound engineer.
Joel Eade: band leader, guitar, lapsteel, vocals.
Nick Rakes: acoustic guitar and lead vocals, born in Lebanon Kentucky, has played in multiple bands all over Kentucky for 30 years, he's our "showman" likes to get the crowd goin' and frequently leaves the stage with his wireless guitar.
Richard Burton: drums and vocals, born in Columbia Kentucky, 30+ yrs experience playing drums and singing, can also fill in on bass and keys when needed.
Mike Foley: long time bass player from Russell Springs Kentucky, with multiple bands, very extensive and versatile repetoire.
Danny Bailey: top-shelf sound engineer, 20+ years experience in Nashville studios, currently runs Krystal Recording in Campbellsville Kentucky.
Jami Schwoebel: light technician, hard-workin woman.
