The Renovators

Background

Circa 1992

The Renovators started as husband and wife duo. She sang and played piano and he backed her up on guitar and banjo. They added me on bass, and their close family friend Shelley Heard on mandolin and guitar. My connection was through Shelley whom I met at work. The songs herein were later in the band's history where we added two more women singers and two other guys, one a singer and one a washboard/shaker player.

We consisted of:
