  • Background

    Circa 2005 to the present

We are going back to the name the Roadmasters (previously was Infinity). We're a cover band playing old and new country as well as classic and southern rock.

Most of our gigs are local to the central Kentucky area.... we play small clubs, dance halls and private parties.

We pride ourselves on good clean sound with the acoustic guitar and bass running direct our stage volume in well controlled and we have a pro sound engineer.

  • Joel Eade (Doc): band leader, guitar, lapsteel, vocals.
  • Nick Rakes: acoustic guitar and lead vocals, born in Lebanon Kentucky, has played in multiple bands all over Kentucky for 30 years, he's our "showman" likes to get the crowd goin' and frequently leaves the stage with his wireless guitar.
  • Donnie Clark: drums and vocals, Donnie started playing drums at the age of 8 with home-made drums. He played his first gig at the age of 17 at a skating rink in Brownsville, Ky. In 1988, Donnie moved to Seattle, Washington where he played music up and down the West Coast with various bands from Washington & from California. He toured Germany, Canada, Europe and the United States before moving back home to Ky. in 1991. Donnie got his first taste of "country music" at that time when he joined the "Silver Creek Band", a band he was a member of for four years. In 1994, Donnie joined a classic rock and originals band, "Picture This". He stayed with this band until 1999, the year his son was born. Donnie took a break from music at this time in order to raise his son. He started back playing in 2004 with a local band, "The RoadMasters", for a couple of months and has set in with various bands since then. In July, 2010, Donnie joined the group.
  • Mike Foley: long time bass player from Russell Springs Kentucky, with multiple bands, very extensive and versatile repetoire.
  • Danny Bailey: top-shelf sound engineer, 20+ years experience in Nashville studios, currently runs Krystal Recording in Campbellsville Kentucky.
  • Jami Schwoebel: band manager, bookings, light technician, and a really swell gal.
